Prove that nitric acid contains nitrogen gas. Quick answer please!!!!!!

Nitric acid formula is HNO3 and on heating it gives nitrogen dioxide which is reddish brown in colour. This indicates the presence of nitrogen in the form of NO2 gas.

4 HNO3 ------> 4NO2 + O+ 2 H2O
