Dear Student, 1) Process of break down of glucose into carbon dioxide and water in the presence of oxygen is called aerobic respiration. It results in the release of large amount of energy in the form of ATP. It takes in mitochondria, process is called as Krebs cycle (through Glycolysis which occurs in cytoplasm). 2) African sleeping sickness is a disease caused by protozoa known as Trypanosoma brucei. These protozoa are transmitted by an insect called tsetse fly.
