I am a student of XI A of your school. I am writing this letter to inform that I would not be able to be a part of the educational tour of the school that leaves for Sikkim on Friday. I am extremely apologetic for the same and request you to withdraw my name from the final list of students going on this tour.

My parents are not in town and my little brother has his final exams just the day after. It might not be a good decision to leave him alone just before his exams. Also, I am the one who tutors him all the year around and thus, it is important for me to stay back.
