Dear student,
Steps of Construction :
1. Draw a line segment RS = 8.5 cm with the help os a Ruler.
2. Taking R as centre and radius more than half od length RS, draw two arcs on the either side of the line segment RS.
3. Taking S as centre and with the same radius cut the previous arcs and name them as E and F.
4. Join EF which cuts the line segment RS at C.
5. EF is the required perpendicular bisector of RS.
