Rita's younger brother Pranav was a studious bay. But for the last few days she had been noticing a sudden change in his behaviour and performance; She was worried. One day.........

• One day, Rita saw her brother sitting at the edge of his bed, with his head held between his palms, anxious and worried. When asked, he said it's nothing, he just scored really less on the science test.
• This had become a routine lately, Pranav being anxious and upset over his scores. He was even seen sitting in his room with the lights off, for hours, without doing any work. Just sitting there staring the wall or something else. 
• When Rita convinced their parents for Pranav to be seen by a counsellor, they learnt that he was suffering from depression. Though the condition was mild, but it had to be treated carefully to not make it worse.
• From then on, Rita did everything she could to help Pranav overcome his depression.
• The title of the story could be 'Sticking through odds'.
