Q. From a well shuffled deck of 52 cards.few cards of same colour are missing if probability of red cards is 1/3 and probability of black cards is 2/3.Then which colour of cards are missing and how many??? pls. tell me....

probability of  red cards in a proper deck of 52 cards is equal and is 1/2

if probability has changed into 1/3 and 2/3 it means red card is missing(as probality of black as become greater than red)

if red is only missing then the number of black cards is equal to 26

let x be the total number of  new cards

26/x=2/3(probabilty of black cards)

26*3/2=x

39=x

so number of red cards missing is 52-39=13

hope u got it!!!!!
