Q)How pure cotton is converted into rayon?

1. Rayon is artificial silk obtained from cellulose.

2. Cotton is not used to make Rayon, but the raw material for rayon is wood pulp (major), which contains large amount of cellulose.

3. Sometimes, we mix the two, cotton and rayon to make a cloth higher in strength and having a lustrous appearance.
