Q. Read the stanza given below and answers the questions that follow: (1x3=3)
Two roads diverged in yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down once as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
i. At which point in the woods, had the poet reached?
ii. What does ?yellow wood? stand for?
iii. Find out any one poetic device used in the above stanza and also give an example.

i) The poet has reached at a point where two roads diverge in two different paths.
ii) The poem is set in autumn. There are yellow leaves on the ground that are shed by the trees. Thus poet uses the term yellow wood.
iii) a) Yellow wood - metaphor. It means the times when we have to take decisions during hard times
b) road - metaphor. It means life.
