Q1. what is double disadvantage?

Q2. what is human poverty? how can it be eradicated from the country?

Double disadvantage refers to a situation where people are both economically and socially disadvantaged. For example, a poor person belonging to a low caste suffers from double disadvantage in India.

Human poverty refers to a situation in which the basic necessities of life like  food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, sanitation, etc. are not available. The way to remove this from our country is by promoting economic growth and implementing anti-poverty measures. Economic growth helps increase national income through employment generation and hence critically important to reduce poverty. Anti-poverty programmes are designed to help those who suffer because of socioeconomic inequality. Such programmes are an attempt to support poor people so that they can improve their condition.
