Q1) With the help of the diagram explain the structure of a bulb.
Q2) Draw the diagram of the following
1.open circuit
2.closed circuit
3.electric cell
4.battery
5.open key
6.closed key
Q3)Define
1.electric switch
2.electric circuit

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

1. An electric bulb is a device used for producing light and heat energy. When current passes through the filament of the bulb, it becomes very hot and produces light.
The filament of bulb is made up of Tungsten. The melting point of tungsten is very high and hence can withstand very high temperatures. When the electric current is passed through this filament an enormous amount of heat is produced due to its high resistance. At very high temperatures, it start emitting radiation in the form of visible light.

3. a. An electrical switch is a device used to stop or supply electrical energy to a circuit in an easy way. If there won’t be any switches, you will have to cut and join wires every time.

b. An electric circuit can be defined as a closed path through which electric current can flow. Various components such as battery, resistor, wire, key, bulb etc can be connected in different ways to construct an electric circuit.

In electrical engineering, a switch is an electrical component that can break an electrical circuit, interrupting the current or diverting it from one conductor to another.[1][2] The mechanism of a switch may be operated directly by a human operator to control a circuit (for example, a light switch or a keyboard button), may be operated by a moving object such as a door-operated switch, or may be operated by some sensing element for pressure, temperature or flow. A relay is a switch that is operated by electricity. Switches are made to handle a wide range of voltages and currents; very large switches may be used to isolate high-voltage circuits in electrical substations
An electric circuit is a path in which electrons from a voltage or current source flow. The point where those electrons enter an electrical circuit is called the "source" of electrons.
