the procedure that you did in the paper to get thr answer as 75 is correct. as the angular momentum of the whole system wont change. if the answer is given as 25 it is wrong. you can cross check it with q no. 12 as if the final angular speed will be 25 then change in angular momentum cant be 0. so the correct answer should be 75rpm only.
