Q19-Comment on the following:
1) blood and nervous connect all body organs and parts
2)heart beat is connected to pulse rate
3)breathing rate is not same as pulse rate

Dear student,
2) heart beat is connected to pulse rate

Heart beat is the rhythmic contraction of the heart while pulse is caused by the heart beat. Heart sends the blood through the arteries with certain pressure, arteries in our body are compressed at certain positions and when blood rushes at certain pressure the arteries palpate and this palpation is known as the pulse.

3)breathing rate is not same as pulse rate

Breathing rate is defined as the number of times a person breathes or inhales and exhales in one minute.

Pulse is the rhythmic contraction and relaxation of arteries. It can be felt as throbbing movement on the inner side of the hand (wrist) when we place our middle and index finger. It can also be observed at neck or back of the knee.

The number of heart beats per minute is called as pulse rate.
