Q7.What was John's opinion about the best sellers?

Q8.What do you think of Colonel Allyn?

Q9.What tells you about John's intense love and affection for his wife?

Dear student,

Please find below the solution to question 8:

The Colonel Allyn had the reputation of being the biggest man and the finest quality in Virginia or anywhere else. He was a retired colonel who lived with his daughter Jessie in a big white house on the hill. Although he wore shabby clothes, he had a pleasant personality that could light up any place he would enter. He seemed inquisitive in he way he threw questions at John Pescud and was interested in knowing all about him. Another interesting trait in his personality is his love for stories; he seemed to enjoy telling as well as listening to tales.

To obtain assistance on the remaining queries, we would request you to kindly post them in separate threads.
