Dear Student,
1- The bouncing back of light after hitting a surface is called reflection of light. We see objects all around us because light is reflected by these objects and this reflected light is captured by our eyes.
2- There are two laws of reflection. They are:
(1) The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
(2) The incident ray, the normal, and the reflected ray all lie in the same plane.
