Question 48 and 49

Dear Student

Ans 48

In case of haploids, only one allele is there in each organism.
So, if there is 3:1 in diploid it means the cross is between heterozygotes.
Such condition does not occurs in haploids
For a gene of height with alleles T and t, the offspring will have either T or t.
So, ratio will be 1:1 (option b)

Ans 49
Lets assume two characters height and color with alleles T, t and A,a respectively.
Most probable outcomes are TA, tA, Ta and ta.
So, ratio will be 1:1:1:1 (option d)
