Dear Student
The story can be framed as follows -
There was a young couple. They were recently married. They were very happy enjoying their life. Suddenly, everything turned to be pathetic. Their country was captured by the British. Fight for freedom started. The husband was a doctor by profession. He became freedom fighter. He was arrested by the British police. Many serious charges were labelled against him. He was put in infamous Cellular jail of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He was tortured very brutally. Finally he was hanged. On the other hand the young wife waited for his return. She always thought that her husband was on official duty in war. He Would/come back surely. Days passed and she became old. Still she was hopeful and waiting for his return. This is a story of tragic ends of war. How innocent people become victims if it.
