Rahul wanted to find the height of a tree in his garden. He checked the ratio of his

height to his shadow’s length. It was 4:1. He then measured the shadow of the tree. It
was 15 feet. So what was the height of the tree?

Given, Rahul's height : shadow’s length = 4 : 1

Similarly, he find the shadow of tree 15 m long.

Now, let the actual height of tree be x m.

According to the given condition,

Rahul's height : Rahul's shadow length  = Tree height : Length of tree shadow

Hence, the tree is 60 m long.
