Read the lines given below & amswer the questions that follow:
They do not fear the men beneath the tree; They pace in sleek chivalric certainly.
(a) Are aunt jennifer'stigers real? Give reason for your answer.
(b) Why do the tigers not fear the man beneath the tree?
(c) What do you understand by 'chivalric certainty'?

a) Aunt Jennifer's tigers are creatures of her imagination which find full freedom and expression in her in her mind rather than in her actual life because of how repressed she is by her husband and married life.

b) The tigers are fearsome and do not fear any man because they are wild and indomitable, creatures of the imagination where the husband's power cannot reach.

c) The term 'chivalric certainty' refers to the courage that the tigers possess which was lacking in Aunt Jennifer herself. There is a certitude about the courage the tigers possess which Aunt Jennifer, oppressed by her husband and marriage, does not because she has become used to a life of repressed silence and docility.
