I was standing on the roadside waiting for my bus as I could not afford to hire a taxi in those days. I was getting irritated with the scorching heat of the afternoon. I considered myself to be the most unfortunate person on the earth. Amidst these thoughts, I saw a man with crutches trying to sell newspapers and magazines. I could figure out how difficult it was for him to get into the bus. I could also sense his dedication towards his work. That moment I realised how ignorant we become to the good things we have in our lives. To be optimistic and high is spirit was the lesson that I learnt that day.
