Retaining same high yield of tomato repeatedly in large population of future generation can PCR be used

Dear student,
PCR is the technique for amplification of DNA segment which is not involved in maintaining yield of tomato. For maintaining same yield we require proper soil cultivation, weeding, irrigation, insect and pest management and pruning. This practice in agriculture maintains tomato yield.
