Riddle Time

A man is travelling through a forest with his sheep, wolf and a bundle of grass collected in the forest. On the way, they come across a river which has to be crossed with the help of a boat. The boat can carry only two things at any given time. The man cannot leave the wolf and the sheep alone, because the wolf is a carnivore and it will eat the sheep. He can neither leave the sheep and the grass bundle alone, because the sheep is an herbivore. The wolf and the grass can be left together because wolf does not eat grass.

Lets break it down to steps:

1. Man and sheep go to the other end.

2. Man comes back alone.

3. Takes the wolf to the other end.

4. Brings the sheep back so that wolf and sheep are not together.

5. Takes the grass to other end so that only sheep is left.

6. Comes back alone

7. Takes the sheep to the other end.
