rohit is 24 years older than his son raju. in 2 years rohit will be twice the age of raju . calculate their present ages

Then x + 24 is the age of Rohit, Raju's father.

After two years age of Rohit will be x + 24 + 2.

After two years age, Rohit's age will be twice of Raju's age.

Therefore, Rohit's age is x +24

After 2 ears Rohit's age will be x+24+2 = x+26

After 2 years, Raju's age will be 2(x+2)

Therefore 2(x+2) = x + 26

2x + 4 = x +26

2x -x = 26 -4

x = 22

This means that Raju's age is 22 years

Therefore, Rohits age is x + 24 = 22 + 24 = 46 years

Ans: Raju is 22 years and Rohit is 46 years
