sea water is a solution, suspention or colloid?

Sea water is both a solution as well as a suspension. It should be classified as a solution because the salts that are present in sea water are completely dissolved, and in terms of salt, the sea water has a homogeneous composition. Thus sea water is a solution of salt in water. However, sea water also has sediments (like sand, silt and clay particles) which settle at the bottom of the sea and are insoluble in water. So it is also a suspension (suspension of sand, clay etc in water).
