It is right that sedimentary rocks are formed from sediments becuase when rivers and blowing air brings rock particals to the ocean beds the layers of sediments are formedand after some years they harden because of the weight of the water and the layers above and then these hardened pieces are deposited on land or used by humans.In these way the the sedimentary rocks are formed.
