Seeds should be sown at proper distances and depths.Give reason.

Dear student,

It is necessary to sow seeds at an appropriate depth because it ensures the proper and timely germination of the seed. The seed sown at more depth will not be able to germinate on time and the leafs will not appear on the surface on time. This is because it has to cross the layer of  soil to come or appear on the surface. Similarly the seeds are not sown superficially on the ground because they can be eaten by the birds or can be easily carried away by wind.

Seeds should be sown at proper distance and depth because it provides them proper air, sunlight, water and minerals. If they will not be sown at proper distance then there will be a competition for air , sunlight , water and minerals and they would not be able to grow properly. THANKS FOR THE QUESTION :)

Seeds should be sown at proper at proper distances to avoid competition for space and nutrients.  They should be sown at proper depth so that they are not blown away or eaten by birds.

seeds should be sown at a proper distance to avoid overcrowding, competition of minerals, roots getting mixed, etc. Seeds should be sown at a proper depth to provide them fresh minerals and water, protect them from birds, allow deeper penetration for roots, etc,
