Dear diary,
Today was my 15th birthday. It was quite an eventful day. The entire family had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Mom had prepared my favourite 'Chicken Chettinad'. After dinner was over we all went to sleep. Suddenly in the middle of the night, I heard a noise coming from the hall. I woke up at once. I was worried and pinged dad on WhatsApp. We both went to the hall to check. We found that the entire room was in a state of mess. We realised that someone has broken into the house. Dad asked me to switch off the light and hide. I obliged. After a few minutes someone came out of the closet. Dad jumped on him at once. I gave a heavy blow on his head. He collapsed to the ground. We called the police. They arrived soon. They caught him. It was an action-packed day.
