Short note on angina pectories

Dear student,
The words "angina pectoris" literally means chest pain. Angina pectoris refers to a sudden pain or pressure in the chest. It occurs due to lesser blood flow occuring in the myocardia or the heart muscles.
Angina pectoris may be caused by constriction or obstruction of coronary arteries, arrhythmia or heart failure. Primarily angina pectoric occurs through atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries.
