Show that the maximum error in quotient of two quantities is equal to sum of their individual fractional error .

Dear Student ,
Suppose,Z=X+Y     -----(i)Then,Final value of Z=(X±X)+(Y±Y)Where, X and Y are the maximum possible errors in X and Y respectively.If maximum possible error in Z is ±Z, thenZ±Z=(X±X)+(Y±Y)=[X+Y]±(X+Y)or Z=X+Y  (using i)Therefore, the maximum possible error in the final value is the sum of individual absolute errors.
