Show that when a current is divided between two resistances in accordance with kirchoff’s laws, the heat provided is minimum

Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
  • The heat energy produced in a resistance is directly proportional to the square of current passing through it.
  • According to Kirchoff law, the current divides among the given resistances so that the current through each resistance is reduced. Due to decrease in current, the heat energy produced in the resistance is minimum.
Hope this information will clear your doubts about Kirchoffs law.

@ ann riya

acc to KCL , it says that the no of current that is entering to a junction is equal to the current that is leaving the junction..

so, acc to thjat its obvious that whatever heat u provided the current will always divided between resistance..
