Since i have studied that in osmosis water (solvent) from low to high concentration so in this case water must go from urea to plant please explain ?? Ihey employ is uphill transport, j,e_, against gradient and faster than transport. the maximum when the proten pumps are being used in transport (saturation effect). Carrier proteins are highly specific like enzymes. They Me also sensitive to inhibitors that react with ptotein side chains. 16. Answer is = As the first line tells us that urea solution is more concentrated than sap , which means urea contains more amount of solute than that of sap. The osmosis takes place from lower concentration to higher concentration. In this case sap is of lower concentration and urea is of higher concentration and hence the transfer of water (solvent) takes place from plant to urea.
