solve 10

Answer:

As we know that area of rhombus when it's diagonals are known is = 1/2 ( Diagonal1 x Diagonal2) and we also know that the diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at 90o.

That is If ABCD is Rhombus and E is the intersection point of the diagonal AC and BD, then AE = EC and BE = ED and Angles AEB, BEC, CED and DEA = 90o.

So the formula for finding the side of a Rhombus when diagonals are known :- Side =√Sum of Square of Diagonals/2

= Side =√(6)2 + (8)2 / 2 =√ 36 + 64 / 2 =√100 / 2 = 10/2 = 5cm.

Ans: 5 cm.
