I have considered 3 ohm resistance between point y to z in second step so my Answer is 7.9 Ohm
If you consider 1 ohm answer will be 8 ohm (by Junction)
take any variable potential at all junction and write resistance between to respective junction and solve like parallel and series. this method can also be used in capacitor's questions.
