96.Even though Benzene molecule is unsaturated it does not undergo electrophilic addition reaction of Br, because addition of atoms across the carbon-carbon bonds destroys the aromaticity due to delocalised pi-cloud and as we know that this delocalised pi-structure is very stable. Hence benzene does not decolourises bromine water.
