Solve question 1
Dear Student,
1. The central heavy part of atom containing neutrons and protons is Nucleus.
2. The number of protons present in the nucleus of the atom is the atomic number of that element.
3. The total number of protons and neutrons present in the nucleus of an atom is atomic mass of that element, ( protons and electrons are not collectively not present in nucleus of atom).
4. Elements having 1, 2 or 3 electrons in their outermost orbit are metals.
5. Elements having 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 electrons are known as non - metals and noble or inert gas.
