Solve the Following Query:- 5. There are 5640 soldiers in an army camp. For the drill session, the Commander wants to arrange them in such a way that the number of soldiers in a row is same as the number of soldiers in any column. Can the Commander complete his arrangement by using all of them? Justify your statement. If not, how many soldiers should be arranged in a row and how many will be left out?

To check 5640 soldiers can be arrange in such a way as number of rows equal to number of columns we find value of 5640 by long division method ,As :



So,

5640 = 75 and Remainder = 15 , Then

Commander can't complete his arrangement by using all the soldiers .

And to achieve number of rows equal to number of columns Commander arranged total soldiers in a row  = 75  and total soldiers left out  = 15                                                    ( Ans )
