8.  Shashi had invited 9 friends to her home on her birthday She had prepared return gifts for each of them using 7 colourful  hair bands and 9 beautiful hair clips. Find the number of items that she had to buy. Write a mathematical statement for this.

7*9=63
9*9=81
63+81=144

therefore she needs to buy 144 number of items all together
