Solve this:

92. The solubility of CaCO3 in water is 3.05 x 10-4 moles/litre. Its solubility product will be :
(a) 6.1 x 104
(b) 9.3
(c) 3.05 x 10-4
(d) 9.3 x 10-8

Dear Student,
 CaCO3 ↔ Ca++ + CO32-
• If S is the solubility of  CaCO3 ,   therefore  Ksp = S × S
where  S is the solubility , S= 3.05 X 10-4 mole/ lit
Ksp= 3.05 X 10-4 × 3.05 X 10-4 = 9.3025X 10-8 mol2/lit2
