A car is situated 30 m from a convex mirror of focal lenght 3.0 m. Find the position, nature and magnification of the image formed. What is the use of such a mirror?

Object distance, u = −10 cm

According to the mirror formula,

The positive value of v indicates that the image is formed behind the mirror.

The positive value of magnification indicates that the image formed is virtual and erect.
