Hydroxide of calcium is sparingly soluble in caustic soda soln
Ferrous, ferric and copper hydroxide are insoluble in caustic soda
soln Whereas zinc and lead hydroxide are soluble in excess of
caustic soda solution
In the case of ammonium hydroxide , ferrous,ferric and lead
hydroxide are insoluble , copper and zinc hydroxide are soluble and
no reaction occurs with calcium
