Indoor games and outdoor games
Games, even if it is in a room or in a field, games can make you relax and take your stress from office works, assignments, and mostly your problems away. They are very entertaining, but still they have their difference that can make the two types of games very special.
Indoor games are usually things that are fun to do even inside the house, halls, rooms, etc. it is usually the board games, relays, card games and other fun games you can do without getting all sweaty and tired because of the sun. Indoor games can be played even if the place is not that spacious like outdoor games that you have to use a field or court just so you can properly play the game. The skies are the enemies of indoor games and usually not a lot of people have to play a certain game. Outdoor games can be played on a lawn or field, mostly it takes a lot of people to play a single game, balls, bats, and other rackets are usually used in outdoor games and unlike indoor gaming, outdoor games are good for people who are proactive and are in much of very tiring and exhausting sports just like basketball, soccer, baseball, football and many more.
Indoor games can be very interesting because it uses our mind to think and find a way to win, even if outdoor games use also our minds to think, our body does the effort more. Similarities of the two types are it does enhance our senses and our body, games are good to our health and in addition, we gain more friends. The good thing about indoor games is that you won’t get tired much unlike outdoor games because usually you only sit while playing an indoor game, and only the mind is running. In outdoor games can be very prone to injuries because it’s in much use of physical strength, and also outdoor games use many equipments compared to indoor games and requires a lot judge and referees so that the game can be played fair and square.

Outdoor games are the athletic or sporting games that involves physical activity and are generally played outside in the open. Generally, there is a spirit of healthy competition in outdoor games. Some examples includes lawn-tennis, football, cricket, hockey, soccer, etc.
Why should we play? We play by nature. We have an instinct to play as we have an instinct to work. We work in serious mood and play in light mood. So, play and work are complementary to each other.
Man cannot always be in serious mood. He sometimes requires relaxation. Outdoor games give that relaxation. We have to play outdoor games to recharge the battery of energy. The proverb goes – all work and no play make Jack a dull boy.
Importance of outdoor games in our life: Outdoor games have a great role to play in our life.
- Outdoor games such as football, swimming, soccer, golf, cricket, etc. are necessary for our physical fitness.
- Sporty spirit helps us tide overt the pangs of life.
- Outdoor games played on national level foster national integration.
- They are the connecting bridges among the nations and lay the foundation of international understanding and universal brotherhood.
- Olympic Games enhance the national prestige of medal winning countries highly.
Outdoor games and sports in educational institutions: Every educational institution has to arrange for outdoor games and sports for its students. Many schools have their own play ground. We generally encourage our girls and boys to become good engineers or doctors but seldom to become a good footballer.
Olympic games: In Olympics, there are various outdoor games and sports such as athletics, archery, badminton, boxing, tennis, equestrian, hockey, judo, shooting, swimming, table tennis, wrestling and weightlifting.
Games improve a person?s mental and physical abilities. They are basically important for children and youth. They help in their physical and mental growth. They contribute to the formation of their personalities.
We play different games. The games which we play outside our home are called outdoor games. The games which can be played inside our home are called indoor games.
Games make us divert our mind from the daily routine and the stress of life. When we play games, we get relief from all our tensions.
Different kinds of outdoor games are there. The games like badminton, cricket, football and volleyball are all outdoor games. They help people to increase physical stamina and fitness.
