Spirogyra is green in colour and Agaricus is white. Make out the difference in their mode of nutrition. Explain the modes briefly.

spirogyra has the pigment called chlorophyll in it.while agaricus does not hav chloorphyll but it has leucoplasts.
tht is why thr is  colour difference.mode of nutrition in spirogyra{algae} isautotrophic while in agaricus{fungi} it is saprotrophic.

autotrophic is the mode of nutrition whrin the organism is capable of making its food on its own with the help of a pigment called chlorophyll and the process of making food is known as photosynthesis.
saprotrophic is the mode of nutrition whrin the organism feeds on dead and decayaing matter. like in the case of most fungi{egs-mushrooms and bread mould]here the organism secretes a slimy subs or enzymes on the dead and decaying matter converts it into soluble form and the consumes it.
