Raoult's law states that, in a volatile liquid, the partial pressure of the a component is directly proportional to the mole fraction of that component.

At constant temperature, vapour pressure of solution (PA) is directly proportional to mole fraction of solvent (XA).
This is called Raoult’s law for dilute solution for non-volatile non electrolyte solute.
          PA   α   XA
       =>  PA = K . XA
