State any three factor that can cause shift in the demand curve

Dear Student, 3 factors are: 1) Income level of consumers: Increase in income level causes the demand curve to shift rightwards. However, a decrease in the income level shifts the demand curve towards left. 2) Chabge in tastes and preferences- If the change in tastes and preferences of the consumer is in favour of the commodity, the demand curve shifts towards right. Unfavourable tastes and preferences of a commodity shifts the demand curve towards left. 3) No. of consumers - Increase in no. of consumers shiftsbthe demand curve towards right and decrease in the no. of consumers shifts the demand curve towards left.
