the angel of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection

where ,

Incident ray - raycarrying light from the source to object .

reflected ray - ray carrying thereflected light from the object.

normal - lineperpendicular to the surface at the point of reflection .

angle of incident= angle ( I ) = angle between the incident rayand the normal

angle of reflection = angle ( r )= angle between the reflectedray and the normal
