Say No To Drugs
Drug-free: without the use of drugs. This being the only word describing my decision, to say “no” to drugs. I will not accept anyone who wants to sell or tempt me into using drugs. Knowing it comes with extraordinary commitments, the loss of current friends, popularity, and reputations, I will not let these plausible outcomes affect me. No one who is urged to change that will succeed, due to my choice of remaining drug-free.
Some do not know what damage drugs may cause in one’s life. Not only do they cause amnesia, but afterwards, most are unable to discern right from wrong. Drug users can have so much memory loss that they may not recognize their own family members or friends. This is the saddest part of all; therefore, I say no to drugs.
I know drugs could harm me mentally, too. If I did drugs frequently, I would become addicted. I would think I was in need of them constantly. Encouraging myself to quit would most likely be extremely difficult. According to http://www.stopaddiction.com/, 8.2 percent of American teens addicted to drugs claim to have received any help for their circumstances. Still, adult drug-users continuously have struggles with divorces and government control of their children. Each has had serious consequences since the day they took drugs. Here are a variety of harmful drug facts:
1. Drugs deplete the body of nutrients for healthy hair and skin.
2. Muscle loss is caused from lack of protein. Inflammation occurs in the heart, along with an increase of fat deposits and high blood pressure.
3. Drugs reduce the vitamin and mineral storage in the liver. Overworked livers swell, preventing bile production and filtering operations and creating a poor appetite.
4. Irritation causes swelling in the pancreas, blocking the flow of enzymes into the stomach resulting in digestive difficulties leading to diabetes.
5. Inflammation, frequent infections, and increased water output in the kidneys result in excess nutrients loss.
