State the reaction of aluminium with sodium hydroxide solution. Can Al displace Na from its aqueous solution?

Dear student

Reaction of Al with NaOH is:  2 Al + 2 NaOH + 2 H2O → 2 NaAlO2 + 3 H2
Sodium aluminate will form.
A more reactive metal will displace a less reactive metal from its solution. Because Al is less reactive than Na, so it cannot replace Na from its solution.

No because Al is less reactive than Na , so it can't displaces Na from its solution.
