State the reasons why did germans lose in 2nd world war?

Dear Student,

One can attribute the following causes and events that resulted in the Germanys' defeat in the Second World war:

a. There were many events of the second world war preceding the year 1945, where Germany had already tasted defeat.
b.  We may give example of the battle of Stalingrad which was one of the biggest military blunders by the  Germans who  moved towards Stalingrad in 1942 , followed by fierce fighting between the Germans and the Soviets.

d. By November, 1942, The Germans were encircled by the soviet troops. Many German troops died due to harsh winter, frost bites and starvation.

e. The battle lasted for five months, forcing Germans to surrender. It was one of the most decisive defeats of the Nazi army and the Germans were forced to retreat from Eastern Europe subsequently.
f. It resulted in establishing Soviet's dominance over the Eastern Europe.
g. Meanwhile, because of Japanese attack on Pearl harbour , US entered into the war, which really strengthened the Allies position vis -a-vis Axis powers.
h. The US Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki formally ended the war.
i. Following Germany's defeat, many Nazi officials, military personnel shot themselves, particularly after Soviet forces drove the Germans away.
j. Later , Hitler shot himself and committed suicide after losing the war, in April 1945.
