Dear student. Yes, it is true that statistics is not bad but it is its use, which may be bad. Statistics are supposed to make something easier to understand but its misuse is also possible and is very common. Statistics may used to support a pre drawn conclusion even when it is absolutely false. It is usually said, "Statistics are like clay by which you can make a god or devil, as you please." Misuse of statistics is indeed its greatest limitation which lead to bad use of statistics. Regards
