In the Act 2 scene 3 of the famous play 'The Merchant of Venice', we see that Shylock’s daughter Jessica says that her life with her father is difficult as she is ashamed of his actions so she wants to convert to Christianity by marrying Lorenzo. She gave a letter for Lorenzo to Launcelot. She bid Luncelot good bye and thanked him for his presence as it made her life more bearable.
