Summary of the play ever young by Alice

Dear Student,
Ever Young is a one-act play by Alice Gerstenberg. Set in the backdrop of the 1920s, the play progresses with the meeting of four older women - Phoebe Payne Dexter, Agnes Dorchester, William Blanchard, and Caroline Courtney Page - who discuss about everything that happened in their lives including love, life, diet, ageing, and husbands. They sit in a hotel lobby observing and commenting on anyone who passes their sight. These characters are strikingly different from one another in the sense that if one of them is mourning the loss of her husband, the other one has divorced hers of 40 years! With an air of feminism, the play aims to bring into picture the life of four women.

Regards.
